Sometimes life has purposeful detours.  Not something you would necessarily plan on or for. This was my case when I made what I thought was a routine visit to see my mother only to realize she needed looking after, so I asked her to come live with me.  Anyone who has been a caregiver for an elderly parent knows it is hard work born of love.  

In 2019 my mother's health declined even more and then the pandemic hit-- requiring my full-time care. In the summer of 2022, my mother gave up the fight.  

Since then, I've been in the studio working through and processing all that was and is now on this Altered Path.
